The Little Schoolhouse began its practice in 2008. We are on a mission to guide young children in education based on the philosophies of Dr. Marie Montessori, founder of Montessori and theory that young children have “natural intelligence” and Howard Gardner who stated that every human being has eight intelligences. Our approach promotes tapping into each child’s “natural intelligence” through learning experiences that nurture and strengthen the child’s cognitive, physical, social-emotional and creative development in an environment that fosters the child’s natural desire to learn independently and collaboratively through exploration.
